What's in a Practi Party digital invitation
Every invitation is designed for phones first. At the top is the photo or video you chose, followed by names, date, time and venue, and below that the useful buttons: navigate with Waze or maps, add to calendar, and one-tap RSVP.
In the RSVP form guests choose whether they're coming, not coming or not sure yet, and how many people will join them. You can add a meal-preference question or a note field for allergies or a short blessing. Everything is saved automatically to your guest list, under the right guest's name.
Modern templates, no designer needed
Choose a template that matches the event: elegant for a wedding, colourful for a birthday, festive for a bar mitzvah. Typography, colours and spacing are already taken care of, so the invitation looks professional even if you've never designed anything.
Templates work in Hebrew and English with the correct text direction, so a bilingual invitation for family abroad still looks tidy. Any change to the text, time or venue updates instantly for everyone who opens the link.
WhatsApp invitations: how it works
There are two ways to send. The free way: copy the link and send it yourself, in a family group or in private messages. Everyone who confirms appears on your dashboard.
The automatic way: upload your guest list and the system sends each guest a WhatsApp message with a personal link. Guests without WhatsApp get an SMS. Anyone who doesn't answer gets a reminder, and you can finish with an automated voice call. Every answer is matched to the right guest, so you never have to guess who sent "coming, 2".
Why digital beats printed
A printed invitation costs money to print and post, takes days to arrive and can't be changed once it's out. A digital invitation arrives in seconds, can be updated at any moment and is connected directly to your RSVPs.
It doesn't have to be either-or. Many couples send printed invitations to grandparents and the digital one to everyone else. Even then, the automated voice call lets older guests RSVP without hunting for a link.
Easy and private for guests
Guests don't need to download an app or create an account. They open a link, see the invitation and answer. Their personal link lets them come back and change their answer if plans change.
Before automatic messages go out, you confirm that the guests on your list agreed to be contacted, and messages are only sent at reasonable hours, never at night and not on Shabbat or holidays.
What a digital invitation costs
The invitation page, share link, guest list and RSVP dashboard are free. You only pay for automatic sending by WhatsApp, SMS and voice call, and prices are shown openly. Start for free and decide later whether you want the system to do the chasing for you. Many hosts begin with the free link for close family and switch on automatic rounds only for the guests who are hardest to reach.
How to word a digital invitation
The best wording is short. Open with one warm line, such as "We'd love to celebrate with you", followed by the details: who, when, where. Wedding invitations often include the parents' names, and bar mitzvah invitations the time of the aliyah and of the party. Don't overload the text, because navigation, calendar and RSVP are already buttons on the invitation.
End with a clear request to RSVP by a specific date. Guests respond better to a firm deadline than to a general request, and the automatic reminders are scheduled around the date you set.
