Wedding RSVPs without the chasing

Two weeks before the wedding, the venue wants a final number and the caterer needs to know how many meals to prepare. That is usually when someone in the family sits down with a long list and starts calling guests one by one. Practi Party does that work for you. Every guest gets a personal invitation by WhatsApp or SMS, confirms with one tap on a beautiful invitation page, and anyone who doesn't answer gets a reminder and finally an automated voice call. You watch the numbers update in real time and walk into the venue with a clean, final list.

How wedding RSVPs work on Practi Party

Everything starts with your guest list. Upload an Excel file, import from your phone contacts or add guests by hand, then group them the way you think about them: the bride's family, the groom's family, work friends, school friends. For each invitation you can record how many people were invited, so at the end you know how many people are actually coming, not just how many invitations were confirmed.

Once the list is ready, pick an invitation template and add a photo or video, your names, the date, the venue and a navigation link. Every guest receives a personal link, so when they confirm, the answer is saved under their name automatically. No more matching replies to names or guessing who "Aunt Rachel from Haifa" is.

WhatsApp, SMS and a voice call, each at the right moment

Most guests answer the very first WhatsApp message, because it arrives in an app they already open dozens of times a day. Guests without WhatsApp, or whose message simply got buried, receive the same personal link by SMS.

Reminders go only to people who haven't answered yet, so guests who already confirmed never get extra messages. The last round is an automated voice call: a short message asks the guest to press 1 if they're coming and then enter how many people will attend. This is the channel that reaches the guests who are hardest to pin down, like grandparents who never open links. You can use an automatic text-to-speech script built from your event details, or record a personal message in your own voice.

A digital invitation guests actually want to open

The invitation is the first thing guests see of your wedding, so it should look the part. Practi Party invitation pages are designed for phones first: a large photo or video at the top, event details in clean typography, a Waze and maps button, add-to-calendar, and a clear RSVP button.

In the RSVP form guests choose whether they're coming, not coming or not sure yet, how many people will join them, and, if you want, a meal preference and a short note. The invitation page itself is free, so even if you decide to send the link yourself from your own WhatsApp, every answer still lands neatly in one place.

Live numbers and seating

Your dashboard shows at any moment how many guests confirmed, how many declined, how many haven't answered and the expected number of people at the venue. Filter by side or group, see exactly who is still missing, and export the list to Excel for the venue and the caterer.

When the numbers settle, move on to seating. Create tables, drag guests onto the right table and instantly see how many seats are left at each one. At the end, export a tidy seating list to print or send to your event manager. Every last-minute change is updated in one place instead of across several spreadsheets.

What it costs, and what's free

The invitation page, a share link, the guest list and the live RSVP dashboard are free. You only pay when you want the system to send the invitations and chase the answers for you, meaning the automatic WhatsApp, SMS and voice rounds.

Prices are shown openly on the site, with no "contact us for a quote". If your wedding venue works with Practi Party, the service may already be included in your package under the venue's own brand. Either way, messages are only sent at reasonable hours, never at night and not on Shabbat or holidays, so your guests have a pleasant experience.

Questions and answers

When should we start sending wedding RSVPs?

A common schedule is the first invitation three to four weeks before the wedding, a reminder about ten days before, and a final call round about a week before the venue needs your final number. You can adjust the schedule to whatever suits you.

Do guests need to download an app to RSVP?

No. Guests open a link in WhatsApp or SMS and confirm on a regular web page, or press a key during the voice call. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

What about guests who live abroad?

Your guest list can include international phone numbers, and each event can be in Hebrew or English, so relatives abroad get an invitation in a language they understand.

Can we see who hasn't answered yet?

Yes. The dashboard has a filter for guests who haven't answered, by side or group. Automatic reminders are sent only to them.

Can we use the invitation page without paying?

Yes. The invitation page, share link and RSVP dashboard are free. Send the link yourself and every answer is collected for you.
